Note-taking should make better thinking
- most of the education emphasizes note-taking as an indicator of academic success; while true, it misses the point of taking notes if forced among students
- while note-taking makes to Create an inbox to store your thoughts and Fleeting notes, it should also improve your thinking; notes are just additional storage for your thoughts
- beware of various traps with note-taking; some people like to take note for the sake of taking note; some may even get into addiction to optimization as Unnecessary optimizations cripple progress
- however, this is not an Advice shouldn't be taken literally; not all note-taking sessions should be striving towards better thinking as it can be used for recreational purposes
- we can do Switching between different topics makes new perspective by doing some writing from our stream of thoughts instead of actively restructuring how do we present the topic in some way
